I'm still feeling pretty run over, but this morning has started off quite well. I get to spend the day buried in Syslog/Rsyslog goodness (which I actually enjoy), and to top it off, my Google Mini just arrived (w0000t!). If that wasn't enough, "Velvet Alley" by Strung Out just came up on my iPod...it's looking good so far.

This week was a weird one, mostly marred by either allergies or a sinus infection or both. Still, it was a good week, regardless of my physical well-being (my best to Wilhelm & Mo-reen, who are saddled with the pneumonia).

Work was hectic, made even worse by missing all of Tuesday with a raging headache and coughing fit, but I got quite a bit done (though my list never seems to get smaller).

It's been a busy, busy few days.

(An aside, relating to my current activity: I hate, hate, hate Windows AD password restrictions. Seriously. How is a 25 character, mixed-case, alpha-numeric, special character having password NOT good enough?! From now on: obscure passages from well-heeled essays by French philosophers...)

All of that piss and vinegar that I had raging inside of me last Monday has pretty much left. I still have much that I would like to finish and get out of the way in order to simplify my life and get organized and blah blah blah...but really, obligations take precedence and I have a handful of those to get knocked out.

Obligations:
1) Finish various logos for various peoples (these are in a state of half-done, and I would like them to be in a state of totally-done)
2) Finish prepping the lawn/house for winter (actual winter is coming, apparently).
