Weave, eh?

Intrigued by the ArsTechnica hands on article discussing Mozilla Weave, and longing for a way to keep an active profile across the mutilple platforms that I use, I went ahead and jumped in on this Alpha test.

They encourage you to back up your bookmarks and then set up an encryption key (very nice, indeed) that is different from your account password. They then magically whisk your history and bookmarks away to be stored for synchronization at another time with another machine.

Hrm...

A bold new project from Mozilla will eventually endow Firefox with sync and collaboration abilities. Though the project is only in its infancy, it shows a lot of promise for collaborative, ubiquitous browsing.read more | digg story
