Keeping Hope Alive

So, Clinton won the primary in Texas. But Obama won the caucus, taking the majority of our states delegates. This, combined with winning Mississippi, puts him 231 delegates up on Clinton. Sadly, I still don't know that I see him taking the nomination, and with Republicans sandbagging the contests lately to try and ensure a McCain v. Clinton presidential campaign, it's becoming more and more obvious that this is business as usual and that nothing is going to change.

I used to be all blustery and such about politics. Then I voted for George W. Bush. Not content with that, I then convinced OTHERS to vote for George W. Bush. End result? I feel extremely guilty about those choices.

So, Obama whooped up on that Devil from NYC in Iowa during their traditional 'stand and be counted' thing. Thank GOD for that. Seriously. Five days until New Hampshirians (?!) get their turn at picking a set of winners...
Let's just hope that they put Huckabee WAY down after his victory over Romney in Iowa. As much as Guiliani had scared me before, the Southern Baptist minister that is Huckabee TERRIFIES me. Basically, here's the breakdown:
1) Obama wins == Sarah & I stay in the country
2) Paul or Romney wins == Sarah & I *might* stay in the country

"I have a lot of respect for Congressman Kucinich, and I’m honored that he has done this because we both believe deeply in the need for fundamental change,” said Senator Obama. “He and I have been fighting for a number of the same priorities -- including an end to the war in Iraq..."
I'd support that ticket.read more | digg story
